The Annex Loft was converted in 2005 and offers 40 residential units. It was the recipient of the 2005 City of Hamilton Urban Design and Architecture Award of Excellence in Adaptive Reuse. Urban Core Developments Group worked with Lintack Architects to redevelop the former Eatons Annex building into these industrial-style lofts with soaring ceilings, exposed duct work and polished concrete floors.
